Update May 1, 2023

This post is a copy/paste of our weekly newsletter, which is generally speaking an opportunity for me to prattle on about things that I'm thinking about.

---

So as it turns out, WAY more people click on this email so they can learn about the new things we've designed. That checks out. As much as I enjoy writing these emails, I think I figured out the realreason you're here. It's the gear. Then the rambling. Maybe the rambling.

You may remember way back in the Fall when I released a bunch of gravel/ bike packing type items. I put a ton of thought and effort into those products and they were a complete flop. I built myself up then... nothing. I don't really understand, but maybe it was too late in the season? I shelved the whole project until a later date. Either way, being the stubborn bastard that I am- or possibly just masochistic, I thought it would be appropriate to re-release some of these items with some clever changes that I'm quite smitten on if we're being honest.

When High Above shifted gears, I resolved to make essentially anything I thought was compelling. So I am. Even if no one buys it, my girlfriend said she wants one so there 'ya have it.

Additionally, I've spent a fair amount of time thinking about people who are not me, and some of those people have kids. I thought it'd be cool as hell to make a kids High Above pack. I thought it'd be idiotic to make some fancy thing that kids wouldn't really care about, so I made it smart and simple.

Today we're launching the new Discovery Pack for the little shredder in your life. This pack is built with the same attention to detail as the rest of our bags, but... you know... smaller.

Anyway. I'm brewing up a storm to spout on about essentially nothing, but I'm going to save it for next week because I'm quite overwhelmed with work to do at the moment.

Brief without brevity?

JC
